Instructions for E-Poster Presentations
Welcome to the digital poster guidelines page for the World Congress of Dermatology and Cosmetology, taking place 05–07 April 2027 in Singapore.
The congress features dedicated, high-definition digital viewing stations instead of traditional paper posters. This setup maximizes visibility and allows for dynamic data presentation. Please review the following technical specifications, layout rules, and presentation requirements to prepare your file.
1. Presentation Structure & Micro-Timing
E-poster presentations are fast-paced, high-efficiency sessions. Each presenter is allocated a hard block of 5 minutes total at their assigned digital station during the designated poster rounds:
  • Oral Presentation Pitch: 3 Minutes
  • Moderator & Audience Q&A: 2 Minutes

⚠️ The 3-Minute Rule: Your presentation should be an "elevator pitch" of your research. Do not attempt to explain every data point. Focus exclusively on the clinical problem, your primary finding, and how it impacts dermatological practice.
Suggested 3-Minute Script Structure
To stay within the 3-minute limit, we suggest allocating your time using this streamlined flow:
Target TimelineContent FocusVerbal Strategy
0:00 – 0:40 (40s)The Clinical GapState the patient issue or cosmetic challenge and why current options fail.
0:40 – 1:20 (40s)Study DesignState the cohort size, method, or key therapy applied (high-level only).
1:20 – 2:30 (70s)The BreakthroughDirect the audience's eyes to your primary chart, graph, or Before/After image.
2:30 – 3:00 (30s)Clinical TakeawayClear summary of how this updates current dermatology or cosmetology practice.

2. Technical Specifications & Layout Rules
Unlike standard slides, an E-Poster is a single-page digital document designed to act like a billboard for your research.

  • Page Count: Exactly 1 single page (or a maximum of 2 pages if including a dedicated clinical trial flowchart/Before-and-After gallery).
  • Orientation & Aspect Ratio: Landscape orientation, widescreen 16:9 format.
  • File Format: Saved and exported exclusively as a High-Resolution PDF file.
  • Typography: Use high-contrast, sans-serif fonts (e.g., Helvetica or Arial).
    • Title: Minimum 36pt (bold).
    • Section Headers: Minimum 24pt (bold).
    • Body Text & Data Labels: Minimum 14pt.
  • Hyperlinks & QR Codes: You are highly encouraged to embed a QR code in the bottom corner of your poster. This code can link directly to your full open-access manuscript, lab website, or an online business card.

3. Submission Timeline & Validation Workflow
Please follow this schedule to ensure your digital file is successfully indexed in the congress E-Poster library and interactive stations:

1.Digital Portal Upload:Deadline: 22 March 2027.
Upload your final 16:9 PDF file through the speaker portal. Use the file naming convention: EPoster_AbstractID_PresenterLastName.
2.Format Verification Email:Within 48 Hours of Upload.
The technical team will review your file for text truncation or layout distortions on our native monitors. You will receive a confirmation email once your file passes inspection.
3.Interactive Terminal Release:05 April 2027 (08:00 AM).
All approved E-Posters go live across the digital terminals in the main exhibition hall for on-demand browsing by delegates throughout the 3-day congress.
4.Moderated Poster Rounds:Assigned Session Time.
Stand by your assigned terminal number 10 minutes prior to your session block. The session moderator will arrive with a group of delegates to hear your 3-minute pitch.

4. Ethical, Privacy & Conflict of Interest (COI) Mandates
  • Patient Privacy & Anonymization: Clinical photographs are vital in dermatology and cosmetology. All patient photos must be completely de-identified (black bars over eyes, tattoos blurred) unless you have uploaded a signed, written patient release form during the submission process.
  • Commercial Logos: Corporate brand logos (pharmaceutical or device manufacturers) are strictly forbidden anywhere on the poster layout. Use neutral generic names for all products. University, hospital, or research foundation logos are permitted only in the header section.
  • Mandatory Disclosure Block: Every poster must include a small box in the bottom right corner labeled "Conflict of Interest Disclosure", listing any commercial funding or stating "The authors declare no conflicts of interest relevant to this research."
